How to Translate Help Center on Willdesk with Langwill?

Willdesk has seamlessly integrated with the Langwill: AI Language Translate, supporting the translation of Help Center only. For chatbot translations, please refer this article for details.


Follow these simple steps to translate the Help Ceter on Willdesk:


Step 1: Installed Langwill: AI Language Translate in Shopify

  • Download the app from the Shopify App Store by clicking Install.


Step 2: Set Up Willdesk Help Center in Shopify

Before translating, ensure that the Willdesk Help Center is added to your store. If it's already set up, proceed to Step 3.

1. For detailed instructions on how to add FAQ articles, check this guide.

2. Add Help center page to Your Shopify Menu

  • From your Shopify admin panel, go to ContentMenus.

  • Choose the menu where you want to add the FAQ page (e.g., Footer Menu or Main Menu).

  • eg. click the Main Menu, click Add menu item.

  • Name the menu item (e.g., "Help Center") and paste the Help Center URL into the link box. Click Save.


To find the Help Center URL:

  • Go to WilldeskHelp CenterPage Settings and copy the Help Center URL.


3. Review the Help center Page on Your Store

  • Visit your store and verify that the Help center page is properly displayed and accessible.


Step 3: Add Translation Languages in Langwill

  • Go to Langwill and navigate to the Languages page.

  • Add your target languages for translation.


Step 4: Access the Visual Editor

  • In Langwill, navigate to Other TranslationsView History.

  • Click Add Element.

  • Select Class/ID for the element you want to translate.


Note: To find the Class/ID for the content, follow these steps:

  • Open your store’s Help Center page.

  • Right-click on the page and select Inspect.

  • Hover over and click the section you want to translate.

  • Copy the corresponding Class/ID from the Inspect tool.

  • The typical Class/IDs for the Help Center are one of the following:

    • willdesk-faq-banner

    • willdesk-faq-premium

    • willdesk-faq-basic


Paste the Class/ID

  • select element type to class

  • paste the Class/ID to the Resource box and click Save.


Step 5: Check and Review the Translation

  • Visit the Help Center page on your store and Use Langwill’s language switcher to switch to your target language and verify the translation.

Note: Editing translated content is not currently supported.
