Willdesk offers two methods for setting up the Welcome Post. This article will introduce the first method, which is simple and designed for setting up basic text. Step 1: Go to App Store -> Live Chat. 2. Step 2: Please go to Content -> Post. Edit the pop-up message that will be displayed to your customers.1) Choose the correct store.2) Enable the devices button that you want this pop-up message to display on.3) Edit Welcome pop-up message's content.3. How to collect the visitor's name and information?
1. Step 1: Please kindly go to App store > Live Chat.2. Step 2: Please click Content > Enable Pre-chat survey, and enable the data collection button. This information collection popup will appear after the visitor clicks to start the chat.3. How to Configure Language Settings and Auto-Switching for Chat Widget?
Willdesk now offers a feature allowing customers to choose the widget display language. Additionally, we support automatic language switching based on the customer's browser or location settings. Please follow this article to configure this feature!1. Step 1: Go to the App Store → Live Chat.2. Step 2: In the Language section, turn on the Show Language Switcher option. This will allow customers to manually change the widget language by clicking the language selector at the top.3. Step 3: You can also enable automatic language switching in the Auto Switch Widget Language section, choose whether to switch the language based on the customer’s browser or location.4. Step 4: Optionally, you can set a default language for the widget. The widget will automatically update to the new language when this default is changed.

How to finish Chat Widget Settings correctly and efficiently
1. Newly added Fonts, Button Type, and Icon size aspects customization.2. Divide the Chat widget into Desktop and Mobile ports, you can make the setup separately.3. You can click Unlock icon and Contact us blue button to help unlock related three options for one month.4. You can contact us one more time to unlock them after one month or update current Plan to go on using.
How to set up widget status?
Please go to App Store >>Live Chat>> Customize >>Visibility. Click Set widget status and decide to enable which button on your widget. Enable live chat——will be shown on the widget interface and by clicking this button the customer will be able to have live chat with you .Enable Whatsapp——will be shown on the widget interface also, and if the customer clicks this button, they will be redirected to the WhatsApp page to contact you.Enable email us——will be shown on the interface and when your customer clicks this button, a page will collect their information and questions, when the customer has done the email and tapped submit, there is going to have an email sent by our Server to notify your that your customer is looking for you.Not satisfied with this page? please contact us for more customizations!
How to set the visibility of chat widgets?
Visibility Section is for the control of Chat Widget Setting Time, Display Devices and Displayed Pages. Here are the following steps on how to use functions in this section.You can find out this section by clicking App Store ->Live Widget->Customize. 1. Set timings for widget display. You can display the Chat Widget at all times or during business hours.2. The devices widget will be visible onYou can now decide if the Chat Widget displays on all devices, desktop devices or mobile devices only.3. The pages will be hidden on displayYou can decide what kinds of pages the Chat Widget can display or not.(1) If you select the Show widget on all pages, the Chat Widget will display on all pages.(2) If you select Show widget on specific pages, you can input related page links according to two conditions: with exact URLs or containing.PS: You can click blue font icon Add pageUrl to add more rules according to your demand. There is no number limitation currently.(3) If you select Hide widget on specific pages, you can input related page URL as well to make Chat Widget not display on related pages.You can select two rules under this option as well, containing or with exact URLs. They two work in the same way with the option of Show widget on specific pages.Blue font icon Add pageUrl is also clickable and there is no number limitation under this option.(4) The difference between with exact URLs and containing is:With exact URLs means you have to input completed URLs and this rule will be working, such as: www.google.com/faq.Containing means you can input URLs content after domain name, such as: /product/faqThe rule of containing can cover URLs no matter it is parsed or not, we highly recommend you to use this rule to setup.
